Illustration Friday - Refresh

Refresh for Illustration Friday this week.
Refresh makes me think of a few things water and feeling relaxed and feeling alot better. So this week is a picture of me lying on a lilo from last summer in the pool. Being in the sun and relaxing generally make me feel more refreshed.

I'm away on holiday this week so I cant wait to be all refreshed again :)

Final Exhibition

So my two years doing an HND in Illustration has officially come to an end now!! Found out I recieved an A aswell so I'm super happy about that. What a 2 years it's been full of up's and downs, so much stress and hard work but I'm proud of everything I've achieved. I've learnt a lot of skills and can see how it's improved my artwork. There is much more to learn but I'll take all I've learnt with me and really try and make something of myself as an artist. I'm now available for freelance work so if you like my work please get in contact :)

Here are some photos of  my final show for college (with my class aswell) taken at the Dovecot studios Edinburgh.

Exhibition (set up)

This is me setting my space up for my college exhibition. A long day but was great to see everything up on the wall and looking to a good standard

Illustration Friday "Space"

This is the first time I've entered Illustration Friday. I've done 2 pictures before but finished them both too late :/. Now that I've all finished college I have lots of time on my hands and am going to motivate myself to do Illustration friday every week and to make sure I am regularly drawing :)

Also.. this is my friend Tim. He sent me this pic today wearing my t-shirt design of Andy warhol which I think is pretty awesome. So strange but such a good feeling for someone to have your artwork on show.

Our class at college have an exhibition in a few weeks (so if you want one you have to be quick!) and we have been selling t-shirts and iphone cases with our designs on them. If you'd like to help us raise money for the exhibition (which we are having to fund ourselves) get yourself to this site - http://www.redbubble.com/people/illustrationetc/portfolio

or you can look through them here -

where you can get one of our awesome t-shirt designs and help us raise money for our show.
Much appreciated!!!

Arghh appologies been away for FAR too long. Finished all our projects now at college and getting things ready for our exhibition in a few weeks. Scary and exciting. Illustrating the word "Illustration etc" at college for a booklet that's going to go in our show. I got given the letter "L". Soo first thoughts were what begins with the letter L - Lion, love, leaf, llama...... LEGO!!! Here is my L made up of Lego pieces with watercolour and inks :)

Children's book

My latest college project - a childrens book all about nightmares and how a child fixes them. Here's it all mounted up on the wall
